A Rambling Thought on a Worthy Topic

When looking around at the world we live in today, there are many things that we can speculate about.  We find ourselves reasoning with scientific facts, discrepancies and many thoughts that are unexplainable.  Have you ever just thought for a second, “what is this place called Earth?”.  Have you ever had a moment where you pictured yourself looking at the Earth while floating in space.  If you have not I challenge you to take a outside snap shot of what that may look and feel like.  There are many people that doubt if there is really a Creator, if there is really a God, or if any of the Spiritual and Biblical traditional upbringings that have encountered throughout life even exist.
There are so many different religions in the world today and many are being formed as this article is being written.  Unfortunately, our children get to experience the battle of learning about these religions despite how they were raised and what has been instilled in them.  With so much social media available all they have to do is watch a video on You-tube or Google whatever information they want to know.
Many have chosen to turn from their spiritual upbringings whether it be Christianity or whatever that belief may have been.  When one turns from their spiritual beliefs it creates a break in their foundation.  This break is almost like an earthquake in their lives with cracks that creates a void that now need to be filled.  This break creates uncertainty, doubt and confusion about everything they have ever believed in their life as it relates to their spirituality and their morals and beliefs.
When I thought about a foundation, I thought about two things.  The first thing I thought about as a woman is when we wear foundation on our face as part of our make-up.  Before applying the foundation, we have to first make sure our face is clean.  We may then want to put some concealer or moisturizer on as well.  It is a form of preparation for the foundation so when the foundation is applied it will be able set and stand the test throughout the day.  The other type of foundation that came to mind was the foundation that has to be poured prior to building a house.  Again, in order for that house to stand it must be built on a solid foundation.  It is the same as our spiritual life, which has to also be built on a solid foundation.  If there is no foundation, there is no structure.  This means there is no structure being built and there is no structure being followed.   For example, because I have a foundation and a Christian belief, when I am walking with my God I can believe that He will be a light unto my path and a lamp unto my feet so the structure that I follow is connected to my source.  The structure that I follow is connected to the God that I serve and the Strength and the Fullness therein.
Going back to the break, once the break has formed, the individual may now experience so much confusion and doubt when it comes to making choices in their lives that they now may possibly start to experience stress. Throughout the stress they may start to exhibit symptoms of anxiety and depression.  There is something about not having a solid foundation.  For example, because I have a foundation, I can believe that my God told me to be anxious for nothing but in everything through prayer and thanksgiving to make my request be made known to him.  He also told me that he will give me a peace that surpasses all understanding and that my heart and my mind will be guarded.  Philippians 4:6-7 There is something about not having the confirmation and the revelation needed to continue your daily walk.
During this breaking point of uncertainty you may see individuals in conflict with themselves over the choices they are making or the life style they are choosing to live.  This is the day that we live in and this is why we see the devastation across the globe in our society, government, home, marriages and schools.
