WHAT DO YOU DO?

What do you do when life circumstances catch up with you?  What do you do when every pain, trauma and hurt you have ever experienced in life has gotten bottled up, but now chooses to resurface?

What do you do when you have to now face those demons? When you have to now acknowledge the strongholds that have kept you bound.  When you are up and down through the night and can't sleep.

When everything around you starts to become a trigger to your pain.  When you find yourself feeling like you just want to give up.  When you notice you really don't  have the desire to be around friends or family anymore. 

When getting up and going to work becomes a daily struggle because your hurt even shows up at work.  While you are at work you have to take breaks and go to the bathroom and just cry because your emotions are all over the place.
 
Then you come out wearing a mask because the day has to go on and the last thing you need are empathetic people around you detecting how you feel, probing wanting to talk about it.

Again, the question is "What do you do?  Many of you are stuck right now with that question in mind but it is " What do I do?"

Questions you may need to ask yourself are,

1.  Why have I allowed my pain and my trauma to stay bottled up?
2. What do I fear may happen if I deal with this head on at this point in time in my life?
3. Am I worried about hurting others, that may have had a direct or indirect role in my pain?
4. Do I feel that I am not worthy or I don't deserve the peace that would come if it was dealt with?
5. Do I blame myself for the pain or the trauma that I experienced?

These are just a few things to meditate on while you are trying to explore and examine your situation.

To help with answering your questions just remember that you must stand on the truth.  Remember that God did not give you the spirit of fear.  The word of God which is the truth says that he will give you peace that surpasses all understanding.  You have to forgive yourself first.
